Suma Therapy

At Suma Therapy, we understand that life can feel overwhelming at times - whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, identify recurring patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Founded by Susanna De Mari, LMFT and Amy Iskander, LMFT, Suma Therapy brings together decades of experience working with teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families through seasons of worry, loss, unfulfillment, and transition. Our approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based methods to support healing, growth, and renewed connection.

Individual

Individual therapy offers a dedicated space to explore personal challenges, deepen self-understanding, and build greater emotional clarity and resilience. We work collaboratively to support growth, healing, and meaningful change at your own pace.

Couples & Family

Couples and family therapy focuses on improving communication, strengthening connection, and navigating conflict with greater understanding and care. We support partners and families in creating healthier, more intentional ways of relating to one another.

Group

Group therapy provides a supportive, relational space to connect with others around shared experiences. Groups offer the opportunity to feel less alone, gain new perspectives, and practice growth within a thoughtful and guided community setting.

Clinical Supervision & Training

We offer supervision and clinical training for associates and interns seeking thoughtful mentorship and professional development. Our approach emphasizes clinical depth, ethical practice, and the integration of theory with real-world therapeutic work.

Good to know

Our Fees & Insurance

Session fees vary by clinician and service. Standard sessions are 50 minutes, with extended sessions available upon request.

We accept select insurance plans and offer out-of-network services with superbills available.

Payment is due at the time of service. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies.

We understand that finances can be a meaningful part of the decision to begin therapy. If you have questions about fees, insurance, or finding the best fit within our practice, please reach out!
